As mentioned earlier, studying in New Zealand includes the following steps:
Explore the Study in New Zealand website to find Institutions and Universities offering your program of choice.
Contact the student advisor or the program coordinator of the concerned faculty.
If you are unsure about the equivalence of your qualifications, you can get them checked at the New Zealand Qualifications Authority with some fee.
Keep your documents ready and apply directly to the universities of your choice. Most of them have an online application system.
Track your application using the Online Application System.
Once you have been offered admission, you can either accept it or decline it in your online account.
Once you accept the University's offer, the concerned authority will guide you through the registration process.
Register yourself to the program and pay your fees, probably of the first semester or the first year.
Start looking for accommodation well in advance so that you won't be left without one at the start of your semester.
Refer to the Study in New Zealand website for more information on living in New Zealand. The University's housing website also gives you information on on-campus and off-campus housing.
Apply for a student visa if applicable. To ensure enough processing time for your visa, apply well in advance, at least three to four months before the start date of your program.
Be present at the University on the enrolment date given on the admission letter and enrol yourself to the program.
Attend the orientation week organised by the University since you can get more information on living in New Zealand and other legal procedures thereafter.
