The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has invited applications from the eligible candidates for recruitment in Clerical cadre in various participating organisations. The application period is from August 11, 2015 to September 01, 2015.
The participating organisations include institutions such as Dena Bank, Canara Bank, United Bank of India and Allahabad Bank, to name a few. The selection process is scheduled for December 2015 and January 2016. The shortlisted candidates will be posted in clerical cadre at any one of the participating organisation mentioned in the IBPS CWE-V recruitment advertisement.
Eligibility:
1. Nationality/Citizenship:
The candidate must be a
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,
provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
2. Age: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years.

3. Educational Qualification
(i) Graduation/Degree from a university recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
(ii) Knowledge of computer operations is mandatory. The candidate must hold a diploma/certificate in computer operations/languages or should have studied Information Technology subjects during high school/diploma.
Online Examination:
The online examination is conducted in two phases:
1. Preliminary examination
Includes tests on English language, numerical ability and reasoning ability, with a maximum of 100 marks and composite time of 1 hour.
2. Main examination:
In addition to the above sections, the main examination includes tests on general awareness and computer knowledge. The maximum marks is 200 with a composite time of 2 hours.
The exams are bilingual, i.e. they will be available in English as well as in Hindi.
Pre examination training is provided to candidates at various centers throughout India. For more details, refer to the advertisement.
Negative marking: 0.25 marks per question wrongly answered.

100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM
600/- for all others.
