Now that you know the major kinds of Universities and Institutes in New Zealand, lets move on with the application process.
Here is an overview of the process:
1. browse through the universities that interest you
2. select an appropriate program
3. review the admission requirements
4. application materials
5. applying to the universities.
Before applying to the Universities, make sure your qualifications are equivalent to those in New Zealand. If you are not sure then please visit the New Zealand Qualifications Authority website to apply for an assessment of your qualification. The website has an online application portal and it usually takes 20 to 35 days to assess your qualification depending on the type of application. Hence apply well in advance if you want to get your qualifications assessed on time.

2. Interested in studying a full time course in New Zealand
3. teaching
4. Immigration cases.
The ASSESSMENT FEE ranges from NZ$51 to NZ$746 depending on the type of application and has to be paid using credit card with Visa/Master Card logo on it.
Guidelines on applying to the qualification assessment can be found on the NZQA website or you can download it here.
